RNI The DJs Arrive CD On the evening of the 24th of February 1970, RNI DJ Roger Day was joined for the first time by Andy Archer, Alan West and Carl Mitchell.
Each took a turn presenting the live test programmes and this CD contains an air checked recording of the evening
Please note: This recording was originally made on a domestic tape recorder, using a microphone hung in front of a radio
RNI's signal at the time suffered severe morse code interference and whilst every attempt has been made to restore the recording, it is not of a very high standard but the recording is offered because of its historical content

RNI On Fire !! CD On Saturday, the 15th of May 1971, 3 men pulled along RNI in a rubber dinghy, 2 of the men, climbed onto the Mebo II and went down to the engine room and lit a fire, returned to the dinghy and set off back to the Dutch coast. Within minutes there was a huge explosion which set the stern of the ship alight. This CD contains the S.O.S messages which were broadcast by Dave Rogers, Crispian St John and Alan West.

RNI June 1970 FM Only CD Because RNI's Medium Wave frequency was often 'jammed' it was changed many times but while the Medium Wave transmitter was off the air, transmissions continued on FM (VHF)
This CD contains an off-air recording when the station was only broadcasting on FM. It features DJs Carl Mitchell and "The Geeter" who was actually the station's Managing Director, Larry Tremayne.

RNI Election 1970 Programme Extracts CD The British Government called a General Election for the 18th of June 1970, and on the 13th of June RNI changed its name to Radio Caroline and started urging listeners to vote Conservative.
This propaganda broadcast by the station is probably the most contraversial programming ever heard from an offshore radio station

Attack On RNI By Kees Manders CD In the afternoon of Saturday, 29th of August 1970, a launch and a tug were seen approaching the Mebo II. The launch drew alongside and Kees Manders climbed aboard, demanding that the Mebo II enter harbour. His demands were turned down and he left, threatening to cut the anchor chain and tow the ship in.
This recording has now been revised and improved Heard are: Spangles Muldoon, Andy Archer, Carl Mitchell, Mark Wesley, Michael Lindsey and RNI's Managing Director Larry Tremaine
