Radio Atlantis The International Service CD
From late December 1973 up till August 31st 1974, there was one radio station that is still rememberd by offshore radio enthusiasts for it's fast and swinging sound.
Often people talk about the reincarnation of Wonderful Radio London as they speak about the International Service of Radio Atlantis. We think however, that the International Service of Radio Atlantis was much more interesting to listen to than Radio London in the 60s. The atmosphere, brought by the DJs, was one of a big family: the DJs and the listeners. On this CD we try to bring back some of the memories we have of the big sound of Radio Atlantis
Often the DJs kept the reel to reel recorder running, while presenting their programmes. Some of the most exclusive tapes have been saved and now, after 35 years, we try to bring back the marvellous sound of the station with DJs:

Andy Anderson, Steve England, John Harding, Debbie England, Terry Davies, Gaby Hernandez, Scott Mitchell, Dave Owen and Dave Rodgers.

Also on this CD, several jingles which were recorded on the Atlantis ship.

Sit down and relax and let us take you back to 1974!

This is an SMC production from Holland.
