Farewell To The Offshore Pirates Stations CD
This special CD has been compiled as a tribute to some of the great stations that were the pioneers of Radio Stations in the UK.

Radio 390 from the Red Sands Fort the last broadcast from your Family Music Station including their final announcement.

Radio 355 was the station that previously broadcast as Britain Radio from the MV Laissez Faire.
Tony Windsor speaks of his fond memories of the Offshore Stations and what they have meant to him. A truly memorable speech from a Pirate Radio Legend.

Radio City formerly Radio Sutch was the station situated on Shivering Sands Fort in the Thames Estuary. Close down was at midnight on the 8th February 1967.
Tom Edwards talks to all on the fort at the time about the many events that took place and closes the station.

Radio 270 was anchored off Bridlington Bay off the Scarborough coast with a power of 10 KW.
It was essential listening for thousands between June 1966 to August 1967, broadcasting from the Dutch fishing vessel Oceaan VII anchored off Bridlington Bay.
Here Ross Randel and Vince Allen with their farewell goodbyes until closedown at midnight.

A true collectors item.

SWINGING RADIO ENGLAND - Johnnie Walker's last Show & Last day extracts
CD 1 - Swinging Radio England had a loyal audience but sadly there just wasn't enough advertising revenue to make it pay. Hear some last day extracts & fun moments from SRE before the station left the air at 11.30pm on 13th November 1966. The station was replaced the next day by the Dutch language Radio Dolfijn.

CD 2 - Johnnie Walker joined Swinging Radio England at its start in May 1966 but was told he would have to change his name as Peter Dee was too similar to that of another DJ, Roger Day. He chose his new identity from a tape of American radio jingles and became Johnnie Walker.
This is an hour of Johnnie's last Show on 15th September 1966, in October he moved to Caroline South as the station swing-jock, deputising for DJs on shore-leave.
